Neith is a private, self-hosted assistant used by one person, Oliver Kozlowski, on his own computers. It has no other users and no accounts. This policy describes what it does with data from the Google account that authorises it - which is his own.
Nothing else is requested. No contacts, no email, no files, no location history.
Calendar data is held on Oliver's own machine, in a local database and in local files, for as long as it is useful to him. Access tokens are stored by Home Assistant on that same machine.
To write plain-English summaries, Neith sends short extracts of his own data - for example the titles and times of that day's events - to OpenAI and to Anthropic's Claude, whose handling of it is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Only the small amount needed for that summary is sent, and no credentials are ever included.
Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google account's third-party access page, which immediately stops any further reading or writing. The local copy is deleted by removing the integration and its local database from the machine.
